CHOCOLATE ORANGE OATS
Chocolate orange for breakfast? Why not?

1 cup oats
1 cup plant milk
1 cup water
1 tbsp cocoa powder
Juice and zest of an orange
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp maple syrup
(Optional) Dark chocolate
Add all ingredients (minus the toppings) to a pan, and continuously stir over a low heat.
Keep stirring the oats over low heat until all the liquid is absorbed.
Pour into a bowl, sprinkle over some zest, a few blocks of chocolate or cocoa powder, and dive in!
A great recipe for those of you with a sweet tooth, who want a more exciting variation on traditional porridge (I mean, it’s basically dessert).
The toppings at the end are entirely optional, but I really like the tangy hit of zest, and how the chocolate melts into the porridge.
