Herby Tahini Dressing

Fresh herbs and zesty lemons make up this creamy dressing to enjoy with a variety of dishes.

This tahini dressing is one of my favourite vegan condiments to make. It’s easy, simple and so flavourful - the perfect addition to any salad or sandwich.

Gather up your ingredients, blitz them in a food processor (or you can use a hand mixer) and voila!

ingredients

  • Juice and zest of 2 lemons

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • Large handful of fresh herbs (anything you have to hand , I used mint/parsley and coriander)

  • Good sprinkle of sea salt to taste

  • Black pepper

  • 125ml (1/2 cup) of water

  • 1/2 tsp dried chilli flakes (optional)

  • 4 tbsps of tahini

  • (Optional) 1 tbsp maple syrup

method

  1. Place all the ingredients into a blender or food processor and blitz. Add a drop more water if too thick, it should be similar to double cream consistency. Taste and adjust seasoning, adding malpe syrup if too bitter.

notes

  • This dressing is very versatile and can be used on top of many different dishes such as my Harissa Spiced Tomato One-Pot.

  • Store sealed in the fridge to use as a dressing throughout the week.
