Sneak Peek Into Our Georgian Country Home in Cornwall

Sneak Peek Into Our Georgian Country Home in Cornwall

As many of you know, I recently moved house! It was a long time coming, with over 6 months since the time we made our offer, and completion. We went through so many ups and downs during the process and it was stressful to say the least! I am so happy we are on the other side and finally moved into our new beautiful home in the countryside. We have already made a few videos about moving house with the full story and all the juicy details, so you can watch them in my moving playlist here.

We moved from our small 17th century cottage in a village in Cornwall, to a Georgian home located in the heart of the Cornish countryside. It has so many amazing original features, an incredible garden and is just everything we ever dreamed of. There will, of course, be so many renovations to come, as we have some big plans!

I’ve kept the house a bit of a secret since we moved in, only sharing a few sneak peaks over on my instagram accounts @madeleineolivia and our home account @ourcornishcottage as I get caught up on the vlogs over on YouTube.

I therefore really wanted to share some highlights and snippets of our home here on the blog so you can understand why we fell in love with this home! It isn’t quite a tour (that’s to come!) but it hopefully gives you an insight into why we fell in love with this place in the first place. It really has everything we wanted for our forever home, including high ceilings, remote location, big windows, a beautiful garden and an incredible kitchen! Anyway, take a look…
